Dr. Alfred J. Lewy reviews medical content for Healthwise, a nonprofit organization with a mission to help people make better health decisions. Dr. Lewy is the Richard H. Phillips Professor of Biological Psychiatry at the Oregon Health and Science University School of Medicine in Portland, Oregon. He is also a Professor of Ophthalmology, Physiology, and Pharmacology.
