Meal Services: Congregate meals & Meals on Wheels. Congregate meals are served at each location on operating days. Meals on Wheels provides hot & frozen meals to homebound seniors five days a week. The Friendship Kitchens catering service are fee-based. Recreation: Ceramics, cards, bingo, needlework, quilting, dominoes, ping-pong, walking club, exercise, line dancing, singing, picnics, fishing, gardening, computer classes, painting, bridge clubs, day trips, tours, seminars, guest speakers, medical screenings & other activities are offered at the centers. Transportation: Available to seniors needing transportation to appointments, to run essential errands, and to visit the centers. Wheelchair accessible vans are available. Homemaking: Light housekeeping, laundry, meal preparation & other related chores are available to homebound seniors. Respite Homemaking: Provides caregivers of homebound seniors time to leave home for a few hours a week to rejuvenate. Literacy Bingo: Improving reading & writing skills. Other Programs: 6(H Dance Club, Telephone Reassurance, Alden Colston Friendship Gardens, Information & Assistance, Second Sight Self Help group.
